About Thornhill
Thornhill Shopping Centre was officially opened on the 26 March 2009 by councillor Maseriti Legora of the Polokwane Municipality. The owners of the centre is Safari Investments RSA (www.safari-investments.com).
The centre is positioned on the corner of Veldspaat and the Munnik/Duiwelskloof road, close to the R71 which now forms part of the N1 diversion. The Bendor area is well-known and is one the fastest-growing and most sought-after areas in Polokwane.
Since the opening, the 12,467m² Centre has become a landmark shopping destination for Polokwane shoppers, offering over 20 stores of convenience and a shopper friendly environment in a village-type architecture, which includes the use of natural stone brickwork and aesthetically pleasing finishes. The virtuous mixture of shops also offers shoppers a welcoming, relaxed, safe and unpretentious environment with adequate parking at Thornhill Shopping Centre.
